   Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb

   At the Museum of Natural History, there’s a new exhibit being unveiled. Larry Daley, who manages the night exhibit where the exhibits come to life because of the Tablet of Ahkmenrah, is in charge of the presentation. But when the exhibits go awry, Larry finds himself in trouble. He learns the Tablet is corroding so he does some research and learns that Cecil, the former museum guard, was at the site when the Tablet was discovered. He tells Larry they were warned if they remove it could mean the end. Larry realizes it means the end of the magic. He talks to Ahkmenrah who says that he doesn’t know anything. Only his father the Pharaoh knows the Tablet’s secrets. He learns that the Pharaoh was sent to the London museum. So he convinces Dr. McPhee, the museum curator, to help send him to London. He takes Ahkmenrah with him but some of the others tag along, like Teddy Roosevelt, Attila, Octavius, and Jedediah.

   Love and Bullets

   In order to avoid the death of the husband (the criminal boss Don Vincenzo, ”King of the Fish”), Donna Maria sends her henchmen to kill a lookalike (a shoe-seller) and then she sets up a fake funeral, while the husband is hiding in a secret place. But a nurse saw Don Vincenzo alive in the hospital while he was supposed to be dead, as the TV says. To hush the witness up, Don Vincenzo orders to his best trained bodyguards, Ciro and Rosario, to find the nurse and kill her. Ciro finds the nurse: surprisingly she is Fatima, the only girl he ever loved, which he had abandoned when he began his criminal career. To save her, Ciro hides Fatima by his uncle Mimmo, and starts a bloody fight with all his clan, including his best friend Rosario.

   Disaster Movie

   Once upon a time the movie parody genre could be relied on to deliver laughs - Airplane!, The Naked Gun series and Mel Brooks’s early movies always had a fair quotient of giggles. These days, though, the genre has been taken hostage by writer/directors Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer, whose cinematic conveyor belt continues to crank out execrable dross like Date Movie and Meet the Spartans with alarming regularity. Disaster Movie follows the same tired formula by loosely apeing a major movie plot (in this case Cloverfield), then packing in references to other, entirely unconnected, recent movies (Indiana Jones, High School Musical, Juno) in the mistaken belief this constitutes humour. Depressingly, these magpie parodies are so cheap to produce they can’t fail to make money - which probably means this interminable franchise is far from over.

She meets Ian Miller, a high school English teacher, WASP, and dreamboat she had made a fool of herself over at the restaurant; they date secretly for a while before her family finds out. Her father is livid over her dating a non-Greek. He has to learn to accept Ian; Ian has to learn to accept Toula’s huge family, and Toula has to learn to accept herself.
