01 Introduction

Welcome to Ontv. These terms apply to the Ontv app for smart TVs and to this website. By using them you agree to these terms; if you do not agree, please do not use them.

02 What Ontv is

Ontv is a media player. It contains no channels, films or other content and gives no access to any. You add your own playlists, from providers you are entitled to use, and you are responsible for what you play with it.

03 Trial and licence

  • Each TV can use Ontv free during a trial of 7 days.
  • After the trial, using Ontv on that TV needs a licence, for one year or for lifetime. A lifetime licence lasts for as long as we offer the Ontv app for that TV.
  • A licence belongs to one TV, identified by its Device ID, which comes from the TV itself and stays the same after a reinstall or a reset. If you replace the TV, contact us about moving the licence.
  • Prices are shown at ontv.al/activate, include VAT and are paid through PayPal.
  • No refunds are given after purchase unless the law requires it.

04 Your responsibilities

  • Use Ontv only with content you have the right to watch.
  • Keep your Device ID to yourself: anyone who has it can change the playlists on that TV at ontv.al/activate.
  • Keep the logins of your playlists safe.

05 Prohibited activities

  • Using Ontv to access content you have no right to.
  • Trying to get around the trial, the licence or the security of the app or this website.
  • Copying, modifying or redistributing the app.

06 Copyright

Rights holders can report an IPTV provider whose playlists infringe their rights at ontv.al/copyright. If a notice holds up, we block the provider's servers: playlists from them can no longer be added, and playlists already added stay listed at ontv.al/activate but are no longer sent to the app.

If you think a server was blocked by mistake, contact us.

07 Termination

We may block a TV, or end access to the app or this website, if these terms are broken.

08 Availability

We aim to keep the app and the activation service running, but cannot guarantee that they are always available, or that every playlist or provider works with the app.

09 Limitation of liability

Ontv is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of the app or this website, or for the content of any playlist.

10 Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Ontv after a change means you accept the revised terms.
