What is Ontv?
A media player for smart TVs. It plays the Xtream Codes playlist you already have from your provider, with a programme guide, movies, series, favourites and a parental PIN. Ontv itself contains no channels, films or playlists.
Which TVs does it run on?
LG smart TVs with webOS and Samsung smart TVs with Tizen, from 2018 models onwards. Versions for Android TV and Apple TV are on the way.
Does Ontv come with channels?
No. Ontv is only the player and comes with no content of any kind. You add a playlist from a provider you are entitled to use.
How do I add my playlist?
Open Ontv on your TV: it shows a Device ID and a QR code. Scan the code with your phone, or go to ontv.al/activate and enter the Device ID, then add the server, username and password your provider gave you. The TV picks it up by itself. You can also type the login in on the TV. Activate your TV →
Can I add more than one playlist?
Yes, up to 10 on each TV, and you can remove them at ontv.al/activate whenever you like.
What does Ontv cost?
Every TV gets a free 7-day trial with everything included. After that, a licence for that TV costs 4.99€ for a year or 7.99€ for lifetime, paid with PayPal at ontv.al/activate. Prices include VAT.
Do I keep my licence if I reinstall Ontv?
Yes. The Device ID comes from your TV itself, so reinstalling Ontv or resetting the TV keeps it, and with it your licence and your playlists. If you replace the TV, contact us.
Is there a programme guide?
Yes, when your provider includes one with the playlist: Ontv shows what is on now and next under every channel, and a full programme grid. This website also has a free TV guide for Albanian and international channels.
Can I check whether a playlist login works?

What does Ontv keep about me?
Only what the TV needs: its Device ID, the playlists you add, with their passwords encrypted, and your licence. Favourites, watch positions and settings stay on the TV, and no viewing history ever leaves it. Privacy Policy →
