European Athletics Championships

The European Athletics Championships are the senior outdoor continental championships for athletics in Europe, organised by European Athletics. They are one of the highest-level athletics competitions for European athletes, below only global events such as the Olympic Games and World Athletics Championships in international scope. Athletes represent their national teams and compete for European titles in the main track-and-field disciplines. Championships are held every two years.
