    S4E2 - The Nanny

    Maggie wants to start dating 25-year old John, a man eight years her senior. Maxwell isn’t too happy about Maggie’s wants, and he asks Fran to put a stop to Maggie and John’s budding relationship. What Fran doesn’t count on is that she falls for John’s similarly aged friend, Mike McMullen. Maggie thinks that Fran is being hypocritical by forbidden her to see John, while she still gets to date Mike who is also eight years younger than her. But Fran knows that the age difference between John and Maggie will ultimately show itself and that Maggie in time will call it off herself. But the wait is just a little too long for Maxwell’s liking. Meanwhile C.C. isn’t getting any sleep as Niles is secretly plying her with copious amounts of caffeine. And the hearing in Maxwell’s left ear is deteriorating, but being vain, he refuses both to acknowledge it and to go see a doctor about it.

    S4E3 - The Nanny

    Sylvia is developing a rash, Fran thinks because of some contaminated food she’s been eating. Meanwhile, Brighton is failing science class. He is having problems coming up with a suitable science project to bring his grade up. Maxwell threatens to send him to military school if his grade doesn’t pick up. Despite Maxwell forbidding Fran to help Brighton out, Fran does suggest that a suitable science project would be to hatch some bird’s eggs abandoned in a nest outside of Maxwell’s office. Brighton is diligent about the project and even asks Fran to turn on the incubating heat lamp when he isn’t around. Fran turns the lamp on, but forgets to turn it off. The science project is ruined. Fran is reluctant to tell Maxwell either that she helped Brighton with the project or that she ruined it. She doesn’t have to as Maxwell comes to his own conclusions when the eggs are missing; they happen to be the wrong conclusions, but Fran doesn’t correct him. All Fran has to do is convince Brighton’s teacher, Mrs. Richardson, to give Brighton an extension to do another project. Fran realizes this task will not be easy when she meets Mrs. Richardson. Fran literally has to give up the sweater on her back to help Brighton. But ultimately it’s Sylvia who is Brighton’s science project savior. In other goings-on, C.C. is staying at the Sheffield house while her apartment is being fumigated. She thinks this stay is her opportunity to get romantically closer to Maxwell, but Niles uses it more to his advantage with the help of a tape recorder and some closed doors.

    A spin-off from The Vampire Diaries and set in New Orleans, The Originals centers on the Mikaelson siblings, otherwise known as the world’s original vampires: Klaus (Joseph Morgan), Elijah (Daniel Gillies), and Rebekah (Claire Holt). Now Klaus must take down his protégé, Marcel (Charles Michael Davis), who is now in charge of New Orleans, in order to re-take his city, as he originally built New Orleans. Klaus departed from the city after being chased down by his father Mikael, while it was being constructed and Marcel took charge. As Klaus has returned after many years, his ego has provoked him to become the king of the city. ”Every King needs an heir” says Klaus, accepting the unborn child. The child is a first to be born to a hybrid (part vampire, part werewolf) and a werewolf (Hayley).
