Formula 1 is the highest level of international single-seater motor racing, contested across a season of Grand Prix events on permanent and street circuits around the world. Established as a World Championship in 1950, it awards separate titles to the leading driver and constructor based on points accumulated throughout the season, with each team entering two cars. Grand Prix weekends normally feature practice, qualifying and the race itself, while selected rounds also include Sprint competition.
