The Men’s European Volleyball Championship is the official continental competition for senior men’s national volleyball teams in Europe, organized by the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV). First held in 1948, the tournament has been played every two years since 1975 and features Europe’s strongest national teams competing for the European title. The competition has a rich history with a modern format consisting of qualification rounds followed by a 24-team championship finals tournament.
