The Diamond League is an annual series of elite international track and field meetings organized within the World Athletics competition structure. Launched in 2010 as the successor to the IAAF Golden League, it represents the highest tier of World Athletics one-day competitions. The series features major invitational meetings held across Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East and North America. Athletes compete throughout the season for points and qualification to the Diamond League Final, where the overall champions are decided.
